HaCity
HaCity is just that, a city within a city. HaCity is close to the Anglo area, Synagogues, Barzilai Hospital, banks, supermarket, hardware store and services. It's a great place for anyone without a car.
The area is bounded by Eshkolei Paz on the north and the Ashkelon National Park on the south. The neighborhood is formed by two parts; Sderot Ben Gurion on the south and Bethel Street on the north, with a beautiful park the divides the two sections, much like the Desha HaGadol is in the center of Afridar. In fact, I like to call he park the Desha HaKatan.
The Sderot Ben Gurion side is lined with buildings about 20 stories high, with a variety of shops on the lower levels. This area is unique in that it offers close proximity to the sea and the convenience of a supermarket, bank, gym, and a variety of stores that offer hardware, housewares and hairdressers.
Because of its close proximity to the beach and Barzilai Hospital, it is very popular with doctors and nurses working at the hospital.
A real neighborhood with shops and services within walking distance.
The buildings are older than the fancy towers on Yefe Nof and as a result, offer greater value both in terms of rentals and sales. On the Sderot Ben Gurion side, the panoramic views of the Ashkelon National Park, don to the sea are breathtaking.
This area is perfect for singles, young couples and seniors, especially if you do not have a car because of the shopping at your doorstep.
