תיאטרון קהילתי אשקלון
בשנת 2011, ראש עיריית אשקלון דאז, בני וקנין, הוביל יוזמות אמנות חדשות במרכזי הקהילה בעיר, והשיק את פרויקט התיאטרון "קדם-אשקלון" לצד תוכניות מקהלה עירוניות. קדם-אשקלון פועל במסגרת מרכזים רב-תכליתיים מקומיים ("מתנסים"), ומציע חללי חזרות, תמיכה אדמיניסטרטיבית וציוד במה - ובכך מבטיח שלפעילות תיאטרלית עממית יהיה בית מקצועי שממנו תוכל לצמוח.
ACT: תיאטרון קהילתי אשקלון (דובר אנגלית) הוא קבוצת תיאטרון קהילתית מקומית המשרתת את אשקלון והקהילות הסמוכות. גרסה זו של הקבוצה החלה את דרכה בינואר 2023, תחת מארק לזר כמנהלה.
